Background
Bassnett Media was created so I could focus on doing what I enjoy – helping people to communicate better with each other so they can do business, share information and broaden their personal and professional horizons.
I started my career as a reporter on a best-selling local newspaper where I learned how to interview and gather information from people and how to write, proofread and edit effectively.
These skills were useful in my next job in Government PR where I was responsible for researching and writing documents including annual reports, promotional leaflets, newsletters, press releases and communications strategies. I also handled the media for high profile court cases and day-today enquiries.
